GEO MedTech Venture Fund is pleased to announce the closing of its Series A investment as the lead investor in Aqua Therapeutics, a medical device company based in Santa Ana, California. Aqua Therapeutics is on a mission to revolutionize the treatment of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (“AUB”), a common condition affecting millions of women worldwide.

With a team of experts in the field of medical technology, Aqua Therapeutics has developed an innovative, office-based treatment focused on providing a safer and more effective alternative for patients suffering from AUB. In two feasibility studies, the Aqua Therapeutics system performed successfully, exceeding the expectations of its team.

As lead investor, GEO MedTech appointed its Venture Partner, Mr. Nicholas Puro to represent the Series A Shares on the board of directors of Aqua Therapeutics, while Mr. Giovanni Di Napoli, President of the GI Division at Medtronic Inc. and senior advisor to GEO MedTech, will serve as an independent member on the board.
